gronom Berries is a team of people with a passion for berries and a love for nature. For years, we have proudly cultivated delicious, juicy, and vitamin-rich raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and haskap berries, delivering them to the tables of our customers both domestically and abroad. Our adventure with fruits is a story of hard work, respect for the environment, and a constant pursuit of perfection.
Our story begins in 1993 when, with enthusiasm but also a certain amount of uncertainty, we took our first steps into the world of berries. We initially focused on the production of strawberry seedlings. The beginnings, as is often the case, were not easy. Poland was just opening up to new technologies and markets, and we had to face many challenges. One of them was providing our employees with stable year-round employment. The seasonality of the fruit industry posed a significant challenge. In the winter months, when nature was asleep, and seedling production was impossible, we had to look for alternative solutions. It was a time of intense searching and creative thinking, which allowed us to survive tough moments and build a strong foundation for future successes.
Expanding the offer
During the first decade of our operation, we consistently expanded our offer, responding to the growing market demand and the expectations of our customers. Each new experience and challenge was an opportunity for us to learn and improve our methods. Moving beyond strawberry seedling production, we decided to invest in diversity by expanding our offer to include raspberry seedlings. The next step was the decision to start fruit production.
Our plantations began to fill not only with strawberries but also with raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, red currants, and haskap berries. Each of these crops required us to acquire new knowledge and skills. We worked with passion, experimenting and refining our techniques to provide our fruits with the best possible conditions for growth. Thanks to this, we managed to obtain fruits with exceptional taste and quality, which quickly gained recognition among our customers.
At that time, we were aware that the key to success is continuous development and innovation. Therefore, we constantly invested in modern technologies and infrastructure and cared about the professional development of our employees. Together with them, we delved into the intricacies of cultivating various varieties of berries, sharing knowledge, experience, and passion. Each new plant, each new variety, were steps towards becoming a leader in the berry industry.
Establishment of Agronom Berries - a milestone in development
In 2019, Agronom Berries Sp. z o.o. was established, focusing on year-round trading of berries. We understood that to meet the growing market demands and provide our customers with access to fresh and high-quality fruits throughout the year, we needed to take a decisive step forward.
This decision brought with it a specifically defined investment plan, which included the construction of a modern fruit sorting facility, cold storage, and spacious warehouses. The sorting facility is the heart of our production, where fruits are carefully selected and prepared for distribution. Thanks to modern technologies, we can precisely assess quality and sort fruits according to strict standards. Cold storage allows us to maintain the freshness and nutritional value of fruits for longer, which is crucial in providing our customers with the highest quality products. Warehouses enable us to maintain continuity of supply and flexibility in fulfilling orders.
Production, quality, trade, logistics
With the development of Agronom Berries Sp. z o.o., employment also increased. To meet the growing challenges and dynamic development, we built and expanded key company departments, among which production, quality control, trade, and logistics are particularly important.
Our production department focuses on cultivating delicious and healthy fruits with the utmost care for the natural environment. We use sustainable cultivation methods, minimizing the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers. We have modern plantations equipped with irrigation systems and covers, ensuring optimal growth conditions for our fruits.
We strive to deliver products of the highest quality to our customers, so quality control is a priority for us. This process begins at the cultivation stage, where we monitor the condition of plants and fruits. After harvest, the fruits are carefully sorted and packaged to ensure their freshness and long shelf life. Our team of experts ensures that each fruit meets our strict standards.
At Agronom Berries, we understand that time is money, so our trade department cooperates with retail chains, wholesalers, and fruit processing plants to ensure efficient and effective turnover of our products. We are flexible and can adapt to the individual needs of our contractors, offering competitive prices and various packaging forms. Our goal is to build long-term business relationships based on trust and mutual benefits.
Reliable logistics is key to success in the berry industry. We have our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles, which allows us to deliver fresh fruits to our customers in Poland and abroad on time and safely. We closely monitor the entire supply chain, from harvest to delivery, to ensure the highest quality and freshness of our products. We are convinced that our commitment to sustainable development, quality, and timeliness makes us the preferred supplier of berries.
From seedlings to delicious fruit on your tables
The production of seedlings was handed over to our twin company, Agronom Plants, which allowed us to focus on the production, import, and export of berries. The cooperation between our companies allows for more effective management and development of individual business segments. Thanks to these changes, Agronom Berries could concentrate on dynamic development and strengthening its position as a leader in the berry industry.
By taking care of the production of both seedlings and fruits, we have full quality control at every stage of the process. This allows us to ensure that the fruits reaching your tables are of the highest quality. Our commitment to every aspect of cultivation, starting from the selection of nursery material, through careful nurturing of plants, to harvesting ripe, flavorful fruits, guarantees that we deliver products that are not only fresh but also healthy and tasty. Having full control over the entire production cycle enables us to eliminate any potential threats and contaminants, which is crucial for maintaining the high standard we strive for.
Plantations in Greece and Spain
To provide our customers with access to fresh, full-value fruits throughout the year, we decided to expand our activities beyond Poland’s borders. We invested in our own modern plantations in Greece and Spain, where favorable climatic conditions allow for berry production outside the season in Poland. It is there, among other places, that our seedlings go to bear delicious fruits in full sun, which reach Polish and European tables.
Our overseas crops supply us with strawberries and raspberries for most of the year. In addition to our own crops, we work closely with local, trusted growers from Greece and Spain. Our foreign partners produce fruits according to our strict standards, and we have the ability to directly supervise the entire cultivation process by regularly visiting our and partner plantations. This allows us to maintain full quality control from the field to the table. Thanks to the global reach of our operations, we can fully meet the needs of customers by delivering delicious fresh berries all year round, regardless of current weather conditions or season.
Agronom Berries Spain
In August 2021, Agronom Berries Spain S.L. was established. This dynamic entity, located in the heart of the Huelva region, is a key element of our global strategy to supply fresh berries all year round. Thanks to our plantations in Spain, combined with crops in Poland and Morocco, we are able to provide our customers with uninterrupted access to the highest quality blueberries and other berries.
Agronom Berries Spain S.L. reflects our values and commitment to innovation, sustainable development, and operational excellence. We are pleased to combine Polish experience with Spanish climate and know-how, creating synergy that allows us to set new standards in the industry. Our Spanish branch not only expands our production capabilities but also strengthens our position as a global leader in the berry sector. Horticulture of the Future Cluster
We are one of the founders of the Horticulture of the Future Cluster, established in 2024. Our decision to join this initiative stems from a deep conviction that only joint action and exchange of experiences can bring real progress in the horticultural industry. We believe that by joining forces with other market leaders, scientific institutions, and industry organizations, we will be able to respond more effectively to the challenges facing modern horticulture.
The main premise of the Cluster is to create a cooperation platform that will enable us to jointly develop innovative technologies and practices in horticulture. Our goal is not only to increase production efficiency but also to ensure its sustainable nature. We want to work together on solutions that will allow us to use natural resources more efficiently, minimize environmental impact, and at the same time improve the quality of our products.
Within the Cluster, we intend to focus on several key areas. First of all, we plan to jointly invest in research and development of new plant varieties that will be better adapted to changing climate conditions. In addition, we want to develop and implement advanced crop monitoring systems and automation of production processes. We also do not forget about the educational aspect; one of our goals is to create training programs for young gardeners to ensure continuity and development of our industry in the future.

Our proven contacts in Greece, Spain, Peru, Chile, Mexico, Morocco and the Netherlands allow us to deliver fresh and juicy fruits even in the middle of the Polish winter.
Regardless of whether the fruit comes from our own plantations or from proven foreign partners, we always take care to maintain the highest quality standards. Each batch of fruit undergoes rigorous control so that only the best, tastiest and most valuable fruit reaches our customers’ tables.
